God Moved Mightily

“On Friday, November 14th, Courtyard hosted the first ever all-coop worship night. All houses–Courtyard, Charis, Varsity and Antioch–were represented on both of two worship teams that led the night. These teams worked hours beforehand in preparation for the big night, starting new friendships between the houses. On the big night, Courtyard’s dining room was packed with co-op members and alumni, as well as many others outside of the houses.

God moved mightily that night. People felt led to share Bible verses, pray and tell stories about God’s working in their lives. Ultimately, the Spirit led the night. Praise the Lord for His presence and working in the worship of Himself!”

Proud to be a Courtyardian

“It has been such a blessing to be apart of the Courtyard this year. The hearts and minds of each and every one of my housemates has been so inspiring. Their true servant hearts have been so evident every single day. Not only have chores been completed with cheerful attitudes and continual diligence, but community service has been a house wide focus and joy. However, the most exciting part of The Courtyard this year has been the hearts that long to partner with the Lord and see His kingdom come and His will be done on our campus. It was so evident in our Halloween outreach where I was continually blown away by not only the outward expression of service and love, but the inward desires that matched that. I saw it in the little things, the smiles, the encouraging words, the prayers and the conversations. The small things that Jesus did, the small things that actually are some of the biggest things we can do and experience here on earth. Thats why I love my house, thats why I’m proud to be a Courtyardian.”
